In order to empower the rural people, SAWED has implemented the following income-generation projects.

Petty Shops:

Sawed helps familes to start petty shops in Devadanapaati panchayat for their economic development.

Milk Animal Project:

Sawed helps small farmers to buy milk animals in Jayamangalam panchayat for their economic development.

Goatry Project:

Each selected poor family received three goats to start their venture for their sustainable livelihood. The necessary trainings, insurance coverage and veterinary checkup also are a part in this project.

Bee-Keeping:

Each selected beneficiary received two bee-keeping unit for their income-generation activities. They are getting regular income through selling the honeys to the local co-operatives / markets.

Traditional Fishing:

Traditional fishing nets was given to selected poor people for their income generation activities and they are getting good seasonal income through selling the fishes to the local people.
